Both have met with the membership committee and seem very eager to help our wonderful community, then we had the pleasure of welcoming them into our Riverdale family at the general business meeting in November. October 31st, 2016 - From the volunteers at Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department we hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween! As always the volunteers made it a point to hand out candy to the children of the community as well as many visitors enjoying the Halloween festivities in town! We had a great time interacting with the parents, teaching the children the importance of fire safety, demonstrating activities like what a firefighter looks like who is in full turnout gear, and as always giving tours of the firehouse to the children. We hope everyone had a chance to stop in for some candy and we hope to see more great costumes next year!
