Just after returning to the station and restocking from the accident at East West Highway and 49th Ave, the Volunteers of Riverdale were again alerted for the accident at East West Highway and 49th Ave. This time there was a reported person trapped. Engine 73 and Ambulance 77 arrived on the scene with a two vehicle accident with one on the side. Engine 73 established the command and assigned squad 1 with the extrication group. With the patient being extricated Engine 73 cleared the scene in just over 30 minutes. This was the second accident of three at this intersection so far this morning.
