On the evening of June 10 at 2106hrs PSC dispatched Engine 73 for the outside fire in the area of Tuckerman St and Lafayette Ave in the first due. As they approached the scene the crew could see the fire on the other side of the tracks. Engine 73 rerouted to 6501 Rhode Island Ave and found a large 30 yard construction dumpster and a storage trailer next to the building on fire. Engine 73 asked to fill the box which brought Tower 7 and Chief 7B to the scene. Chief 7B arrived on the scene and assumed the command while Tower 7 made entry to building and Engine 73 advance two lines to the two fires. Truck 1 arrived on the scene and laddered the roof while all remaining units staged. With no extension to the building, Command scaled back the units to Engine 73 and Tower 7 in 10 minutes. Company 7 cleared the scene at 2240hrs.
