Crews Run 2 Overturned Vehicle Incidents in 3 Days |

Just before 0100 hours on Saturday, February 21, the Engine and Ambulance were alerted for a reported vehicle accident at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and East West Highway. Crews arrived on the scene within minutes to find a Jeep SUV on its roof. Forutnately, for the occupants, the were able to self extricate and did not require transport to medical facilities.
Three days later, at 2200 hours on the 24th of February, crews were once again alerted for a vehicle accident at Baltimore Avenue and East West Highway. Upon arrival on the scene, crews encountered a Toyota Minivan that had been struck by a Crown Victoria. The Minivan was on it's roof and had been spun around 180 degrees from it's original travel direction. The occupants of the overturned minivan were both transported as Category C traumas to Prince George's Trauma Center. The occupants of the Crown Vic did not require medical transport.
