At 1715hrs on Sunday February 15, 2009 PSC dispatched Engine 807 as the third due engine to 6902 Beacon Place in the East Pines section of Riverdale Heights.  Engine 807 and Chief 807 responded with 8 personnel and could see the smoke as they turned onto East West Highway from Taylor Road.  Company 7 arrived quickly behind engine 813 and went to work.  Chief 807 established the command and assigned Engine 807 to Division 1 along with Engine 813 and Truck 828.

With water supply problems to and from the first due engine, command pulled the crews back until the water supply issues could be fixed. The water supply issues were quickly fixed and Engine 807 went back to work. The Crew from Engine 807 split with two lines and one crew knocked the fire in the kitchen and held the basement fire in check until the Basement division could handle the fire there. The second line assisted Engine 809 with the fire on Division 2.

Command scaled back to Engines 813, 807, 809, Truck 828 and 801 within the 30 minute mark. Company 7 was one of the last to leave the fire ground.
