At 0640 hours, both the Engine and Truck were alerted to respond on the reported apartment fire at 6122 Breezewoord Drive (Springhill Lake Apartments) in Company 814's area.  Due to units from 814, 811, and 835 being out on a reported vehicle accident on the Beltway, Engine 807 was third due engine and the Truck was second due truck.  Crews from E812 reported on the scene with nothing evident and quickly altered their return to smoke in the building with a possible working fire.

Engine 807 established a secondary water supply by hitting the hydrant in front of 6124 Breezewood Drive, and proceeded to advance a 400' attack line into 6124 as crews were reporting the possibililty of the fire being in the laundry room of 6124.  They encountered heavy smoke conditions but no sign of fire, so the retracted their attack line and stood by to advance it into 6122.  The Truck was assigned RIC duties and proceded to side Alpha of 6122 with their RIC gear. 

After about 5 minutes, cres from E812 and Truck 831 advised a small trash fire, and requested to sclae the incident back to one and one.  Crews returned to service at 0720 and returned to quarters.
