Several members participated in the Second Annual DCFD Burn Foundation Fall Training held this past weekend at the DCFD Training Academy. Members of the Burn Foundation donated their time and experience for this event, and along with the help and cooperation of DCFD were able to hold this event by using their training academy.  There were over 100 participants in attendance for this training opportunity from all over the country, as far away as California.  The training classes included Engine Company Operations, Truck Company Operations, Rescue Company Operations and Firefighter Survival.  All members from Riverdale that attended the training are already anticipating the next Burn Foundation training event.  We would like to thank the DCFD Burn Foundation and members of District Of Columbia Fire Department for making this opportunity possible.
