Riverdale Brings Home Multiple Trophies |

Congratulations go out to all the members for their dedication and pride. The 88th Anual Convention of the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association was brought to a close today with a parade and competiitions held at Branchville Volunteer Fire Company and Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department. Riverdale participated in the parade with Engine 72, Engine 73 and Ambulance 77. F/F Chad hasselberger participated in the Driver's Rodeo with Engine 73 and also assisted the Clinton Volunteers in the hook-up competitions. When all was over, Riverdale was the proud recipient of the trophies for Best Appearing Ambulance, 2nd Best Appearing Wagon (fire engine), and Best Appearing Company Overall - Single House. F/F Hasselberger also took First Place in the Driver's rodeo with a score of 98 out of a possible 100 points.
Additionally, President Steve Lamphier was re-elected to another term on the Association's Board of Directors representing the 2nd District (Riverdale, College Park, Hyattsville, Mount Rainier, Cottage City, and Brentwood). Congratulations on your re-election and your dedication to the association projects that you have been painstakingly pursuing.
