At approximately 1800 hrs on Friday, January 14, 2022 Tower 7 was alerted as first due special service to the 2900 block of Hamilton Street in Hyattsville for single story commercial structure fire.  Initial reports were confirmed by the first arriving units with heavy smoke showing from the roof.  Tower 7  performed forcible entry, assisted with interior attack and primary search, followed by suppression of the fire from the bucket of Tower 7.

One crew member sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for check-up.  He was later released with a minor hand injury and will return to service in a few days.
