Thursday, April 02 2009 19:25

On Thursday February 26th at 2015hrs PSC started receiving calls reporting smoke and fire coming from 5901 Knollbrook Dr in company 44's area. With units from 44 and 34 out on a call in Montgomery County, Engine 807 was dispatched as the first due engine on the box. Engine 807, Chief 807, and 807a responded with eight personnel and arrived on the scene with smoke and fire showing from a three-story garden style apartment. The Engine crew advanced two attack lines with one going to the fire apartment and the second going to the attic. With the crew from Engine making a quick aggressive knock on the fire, command started scaling back the assignment in 20 minutes. Company 807 cleared the scene at 2225hrs.
