Riverdale Lends a Hand to Honor Past Chief Print

On May 13, 2014, members of the Riverdale Fire Department headed east on route 50 and over the Bay Bridge to assist the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department with honoring Donald "Duck" Anthony a past chief and charter member of their department. It is not normal that we travel such a distance to help honor a fire department member that was never a member of our department, but we were informed that Grasonville got their colors for their apparatus because Chief Anthony loved the white over black that we had on our Macks. For that reason we assisted in honoring him. May he Rest in Peace.
