The night of May 8, 2014 Engine 73 was dispatched for the reported auto accident on the Capital Beltway at Route 50. The first arriving unit, squad 33, found what appeared to be an auto accident with one on fire. Engine 73 quickly arrived on the scene. While squad 33's crew tended to the patient the, crew from Engine 73 deployed the bumper line to extinguish the fire.
