Sunday March 2, PSC started to receive calls reporting smoke in the building at 5804 Annapolis Rd in company 9's area. The box was dropped at 1822hrs sending Engine 73, with 7 personnel, as the fourth due engine on the box. First arriving units found a working fire in the trash room on the 6th floor. Engine 73 arrived on the scene and advanced their stand pipe packs to the 7th floor to back up the 3rd due engine.

Chief 7 arrived and was assigned Division 5 and worked with units on the floor to check for extension and assist citizens with sheltering in place. With no extension of fire, command scaled back the units and company 7 returned to service in less than an hour.
