Thursday February 27 PSC dispatched a reported house fire in the 7600blk of Newburg Dr in company 48's area just after 2030hrs. Engine 72 was dispatched as the 3rd due engine and responded with 5 personnel, Chief 7 and Chief 7A also responded. First arriving units found a fire in the basement of a two story split foyer home.

Engine 72 laid over 800' of supply line and advanced their attack line to side alpha before being directed to check division 2 for extension. Chief 7A was assigned side Charlie Sector and Chief 7 was at the command post. The fire was quickly contained and command started releasing units.
